"The Strollers2" had an engagement in

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on 4th. August, 2009.

to perform at a Charity Dinner organised by the
National Stroke Association Of Malaysia
(Sabah Branch) in Pacific Sutera Hotel.

The ladies sure know how to enjoy themselves

doing the 'Line Dance' to the tune of

the very popular, "Achy Breaky Heart"

performed by "The Strollers2"

Wow ! Look at them go all dressed to kill in

their very colourful attire. Even Toh Puan

Rahimah Stephens (extreme right) can do the

'Line Dance' with ease.

They really had a great time cos the

Party ended around 2.00 am.

a great fan of "Strollers" then was looking forward

to meeting the new set-up of "The Strollers2"

and this is what Nizman has to say about the Band

"If you're a child of the late 1960's & 1970's, you would

probably remember the above albums of Malaysian

Hottest Band "STROLLERS" who were popular with

their songs :- 'Silly Joke', 'Just As I Am'

and 'Do What You Gotta Do'.

40 years on, Hussein Idris (an original member of

"Strollers") with Desi & Casper (2 ex-"Memories")

decided to make a comeback to the music scene solely

out of their love of music together with Nan formerly

"Grim Preachers" and Lord of "The Boys"

TODAY, THEY ARE KNOWN AS "THE STROLLERS2"

"I recently had the opportunity to photograph an

event when "The Strollers2" was the entertainment

band for NASAM Charity Dinner held at the

Pacific Sutera Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

on 4th. August, 2009.

The event was coloured beautifully with

attendees attiring colours of the 1970's as the

event then was. Present to serenade songs

down memory lane was none other than

"THE STROLLERS2" Band"

They were happily partying into the wee hours

to the sound of "The Strollers2" in Backyard

and the Pub is always packed with our fans.
